Wellness Experience: Termas de San Joaquín, Coahuila, Mexico

The Termas de San Joaquín can be found in the serene desert landscape of northern Mexico, a hidden oasis in the state of Coahuila, offering a tranquil escape close to the city of Monterrey. Known for its natural hot springs and historic charm, this destination provides rejuvenation and relaxation. The underground thermal waters housed in arched stone chambers reflect the vaulted ceilings, reminiscent of ancient Roman baths, where guests can enjoy the therapeutic benefits of mineral-rich natural thermal waters including improved blood circulation, healing for a variety of skin conditions and soothing joints and muscles. Additionally, immersion in these healing waters can help relieve stress and promote a state of calm and well-being. These geothermal pools vary between 96° and 111° Fahrenheit (36° and 44° Celsius) and typically contain a variety of minerals such as sulfur, calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, and phosphorus.

With two separate options available for hot springs bathing, Termas de San Joaquín offers a single large pool open to the public with a temperature of 107-111° Fahrenheit (42-44° Celsius). Alternatively, the hotel of Termas de San Joaquín offers a separate bathhouse with a similar aesthetic, where pools range from 96-111° Fahrenheit (36-44° Celsius).
