Celebrating over 20 years in business, having opened in 2002, Spa Natural Center has positioned itself as a leader in the Dominican Republic in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and offers a range of holistic therapies. With indoor treatment rooms, garden palapas and beachfront cabañas, guests can select their ideal setting to enjoy their massage or spa treatment.

In the garden palapas, guests enjoy the tranquil sound of the waterfall and the manicured gardens, full of tropical foliage and medicial plants such as herbs, used in various treatments at Spa Natural Center. In the beach cabañas, guests enjoy the sounds of the ocean as the waves lap the shore and the warm Caribbean breeze.

Their repertoire of TCM treatments include acupuncture, moxibustion – a technique of using the toasted, pulverized herb Artemisa Bulgaris wrapped into a cigar-like form and burned close to the skin to relieve pain and stimulate energy and blood flow, and Chinese cupping – using suction to treat a variety of physical and emotional or energetic conditions, activating the energy meridians of the body.

Maderotherapy, the use of wooden tools in a massage treatment, is also featured on the menu. Utilizing a range of instruments, maderotherapy can increase the pressure applied and deliver effective deep tissue therapy, helping to relieve contracted muscles.
