Paradisus by Meliá, has recently partnered with SUDA®, headquartered in Ibiza, Spain, to deliver innovative and exclusive wellness experiences to its guests. Together, they created the mind and body immersive boot camp, designed by dancers and artists. The holistic sessions integrate immersive yoga, active meditation, breathwork, martial arts, and dance techniques creating holistic mindful transformation to relax the mind and awaken consciousness.
Loose yourself with ecstatic dance to liberate stuck energy and emotions and fully connect to the present moment. Find peace with active meditations and breathwork as you listen to the sounds of nature, singing crystal bowls, soft music and the gentle voice guiding your immersive experience. Release tight muscles and liberate joints with a yoga practice to invigorate and energize your whole body, regardless of your flexibility level.
With a maximum of 20 participants SUDA is able to customize their wellness experiences to suit the group of individuals and cater to all experience levels. With successful events completed in Paradisus Cancun and Playa del Carmen, and one soon to follow in Paradisus Los Cabos, we’re sure to see more collaborative wellness events from this partnership.
At Yhi Spa Paradisus Playa del Carmen, prepare for your treatments by enjoying the sauna and steam room, separated for males and females, in combination with the outdoor mixed gender hydrotherapy pool and jacuzzi. One of the highlights of the spa menu is the revitalizing and moisturizing Mayan clay massage. This brings new life to skin as it detoxifies and remineralizes, helping to regenerate the skin and its ability to fight free radical damage while increasing the skin’s vital energy. The stylish and brand new Paradisus resort by Meliá is situated on the northern edge of Playa del Carmen with pristine beaches and turquoise water. Two separate resorts combine to create a property and experience to suit all. La Perla caters exclusively to adults while La Esmeralda welcomes families. The oceanfront location is surrounded by a lush tropical mangrove preserve and enjoys spectacular views of Cozumel Island across the water of the Caribbean Sea. The two resorts share extensive facilities including restaurants, lounges and bars, relaxation areas, theatre, club, meeting spaces and the resort’s spa, all located in the central ‘Zocalo’ area.
Ensconced in the middle of ‘El Zocalo’ is YHI Spa, a 20,000 square foot stylish haven of relaxation featuring 14 treatment suites. The branded YHI Spa can be found across Meliá’s collection of hotels with signature YHI Spa treatments available in all locations plus individual treatments specific to each property.
The highlight of the hydrotherapy facilities is a central open air pool and Jacuzzis with surrounding cabana beds covered with fresh white drapes. Saunas, steam rooms and the zen relaxation lounge are also available to enjoy pre or post treatment offering a tranquil environment to relax and rejuvenate.
The spa menu offers a selection of massages, facials, body rituals, hair treatments, manicures and pedicures. The Rice Dream ritual, recommended as one of the best services offered at YHI Spa Paradisus begins with a gentle exfoliation with rice powder, followed by a creamy rice milk body mask and finishing with a rich rice cream massage. The minimalist yet stylish treatment suite includes dark woods, spicy aromas and serene spa sounds with an open air shower effectively hidden during the treatment ritual by plush drapes.
YHI Spa features a full service beauty salon for complete makeovers or finishing touches and welcomes guests of all ages while spa services are reserved for those over 18 years.
