Zentropia Spa at Grand Palladium Punta Cana offers guests a wellness experience that can be enjoyed for hours. A serene reception area welcomes guests before they are guided to the changing areas and out to the open air hydrothermal ‘playground’ spanning almost 14,800 square feet. With a multitude of experiences, guests should be sure to allow at least two hours pre-treatment to make use of the facilties.
After refreshing with a quick shower, start the journey with a sauna session to heat up and relax the muscles, followed by an ice application from the ice chute in the cold room (frigidarium) to refresh and then the eucalyptus scented steam room. From there, proceed to the experience showers, hot jacuzzi, cold plunge pool and the dynamic pool. The revitalizing dynamic pool offers a variety of jets for the shoulders and lower back, with bubble beds to relax the whole body. A snack and juice bar to one side of the hydrotherapy area allows guests to recharge with a refreshing beverage, infusion or fruit snack before continuing to enjoy the circuit.
A mud mask area offers guests a fun self-applied treatment experience with three large bowls of silky smooth clay to apply over the entire body. A Pastel Pink Clay from Australia balances stressed or sensitive skin, hydrating and improving texture. A Volcanic Ash Clay from India removes impurities and dead skin cells leaving the skin refreshed and glowing. A Rhassoul Clay extracted from the Atlas Mountains in Morocco remineralizes the skin with magnesium, silica, potassium and calcium, helping to nourish while improving elasticity and firmness. Relax for ten minutes and allow the clay to dry, then shower off and proceed to the relaxation lounge.
After the fun of the hydrotherapy and mud mask area, an array of massages, facials and body treatments can be enjoyed at the Zentropia Spa. The Zentropia Massage combines six techniques including aromatherapy, shiatsu, deep tissue, cranial massage and stretches to leave you feeling balanced and energized. The Zentropia Salon also offers guests manicures and pedicures in addition to hair and makeup services to prepare for a night out or for bridal parties preparing for a wedding.
