Review by Spa & Wellness MexiCaribe
The Cenote Spa at the Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen is named after the fresh water river openings, emblematic of the Riviera Maya and Yucutan Peninsula. With all the facilities you would expect from a luxury resort spa including a eucalyptus steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi, cold plunge and experience shower, the Cenote Spa also boasts a beautiful, replica ‘cenote’ with a circular warm pool and loungers to relax on. This cave-like, shared space can be enjoyed by both men and women, both before and after spa services. Under the warm glow of subtle orange lighting set in the ‘cenote’ walls you can swim in the warm pool, relax on lounge chairs and even get in touch with you artistic side by coloring in a mandala or reading about your favorite artist from the selection of books.
The treatment menu offers a variety of massages, facials and body treatments in suites that look out over a real cenote and lush jungle foliage. Cenote spa at the Grand Hyatt features 6 single treatment rooms and 2 couples suites that also include a private bathtub, showers and dressing area. A full service Salon offering styling, manicures and pedicures complements the spa in addition to a 25M lap pool and fully equipped fitness center.
