Playa del Carmen recently welcomed an innovative new facial salon, located at Yhi Spa, Paradisus La Perla. FACE SPAce, a new concept in collaboration with the renowned Italian skincare brand Comfort Zone, revolutionizes the traditional facial experience with its first location in Latin America.
The launch event, held at the adults-only resort, moves beyond relaxation to deliver immediate, visible results. Inspired by physiotherapy practices, FACE SPAce offers dynamic, interactive 40-minute services. Guests undergo a computerized skin diagnosis to precisely identify their needs, allowing aestheticians to tailor treatments with Comfort Zone’s products and facial tools. Cryo-spoons, gua sha, jade rollers, and microcurrent devices are combined with massage techniques to actively lift and sculpt while stimulating collagen, releasing tension, and boosting circulation.
The concept emphasizes education and is designed to be a social, shareable experience, accommodating two guests simultaneously, seated in their branded Italian leather, barber-style reclining chairs. Its bright, vibrant setting encourages ‘before-and-after’ selfies, embodying a modern, fun, results-driven facial experience.
