Eric Stephenson kicked off the general session with some songs to get everyone up and dancing before Colin Mcllheney took the stage to present the latest US spa industry statistics. All of the big 5 metrics show a healthy increase and next year will mark 20 years of spa industry research data presented annually at ISPA.
2018 ISPA Conference & Expo – Day One
We started the day with a breakfast meeting hosted by Green Spa Network, learning about the commitment to planting 1 million trees by Earth Day of 2019, approximately 100,000 trees in, the initiative is off to a great start and will reforest parts of Brazil that have been most affected by deforestation.
Christine Muchemu to Receive ISPA Foundation Scholarship
The International SPA Association (ISPA) Foundation will award Christine Muchemu from Ithaca, New York, the Mary Tabacchi Scholarship onstage during the General Session at the 28th annual ISPA Conference & Expo at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona, from Sept. 24-26.
Global Wellness Institute Names New Research Fellow: Tonia Callender
Global Wellness Institute announced experienced research expert Tonia Callender has joined the organization as a Research Fellow.
