La industria mundial del bienestar creció un 12.8% en los últimos dos años, de un mercado de 3.7 billones de dólares en 2015 a 4.2 billones de dólares en 2017. El estudio Global Wellness Economy Monitor 2018 revelaron nuevos datos sobre los diez mercados que conforman la economía mundial del bienestar, lo que proporciona una nueva evidencia de que el bienestar sigue siendo una de las industrias más grandes y de más rápido crecimiento del mundo.
Entre 2015 y 2017, la economía del bienestar creció un 6.4% anual, casi el doble de rápido que el crecimiento económico mundial (3.6%)
Los gastos en bienestar (4.2 billones de dólares) son ahora más de la mitad de los gastos totales en salud a nivel mundial (7.3 billones de dólares)
La industria del bienestar representa actualmente el 5.3% de la producción económica mundial

The Global Wellness Institute (GWI), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a trusted, internationally recognized resource for wellness industry data, today announced that an in-depth update of its Global Wellness Economy Monitor will be released at this year’s Global Wellness Summit, taking place at Technogym Village, Cesena, Italy, October 6–8.
