Haven Resort & Spa is a fairly new addition to the Riviera Maya’s resort selection; having opened in 2018, Haven offers a peaceful, adults-only sanctuary to those looking for a relaxing getaway. The elegant design is clear upon arrival, with a stunning ocean view awaiting guests as they step into the lobby and accents of turquoise highlighting the Caribbean blue of the ocean throughout the resort. A walk-in, circular pool provides a tranquil atmosphere for those looking to relax with a variety of stylish cocoons and shaded beds to choose from. The central pool and beach area offers activities throughout the day such as aqua-cycling, paddleboarding, fitness board classes and beach volleyball.
The 1500-square-meter MySenses Spa offers a serene ambiance, drawing decor inspiration from Mediterranean and Moroccan cultures, including a stunning tiled mural creating the focal point of the expansive hydrotherapy area. The spa features a sauna, a steam room where guests are provided with ice and aloe vera to apply, experience showers, ice chute, a cold plunge pool and a hot Jacuzzi. In addition to these facilities a rasul chamber creates a perfect location for couples or groups to experience an exfoliation or mask application. Set to a lower heat than the sauna or steam room, the rasul is an ambient environment where guests can spend time applying and benefiting from various exfoliators and masks. Each tiled alcove seating space has its own shower hose for a refreshing rinse at the end of this step of the journey.
The sensorial pool offers a variety of water jets for the neck, back and shoulders in addition to bubble beds and two Heizer bubble floor enclosures to stimulate lower body circulation. Four heated thermal loungers aid in muscle relaxation while therapists perform a variety of mini treatments such as scalp massage, neck and shoulder massage, mini facial and foot massage. Services at MySenses Spa comprise a range of experiences, mainly created for couples in luxurious and spacious suites, including facials, massages, body treatments and energetic rituals. The bridal suite and beauty salon offer the perfect setting for groups and wedding parties to prepare and relax.
A variety of wellness, sports and creativity boosting activities can also be enjoyed around the resort such as tennis, golf, yoga, cooking classes, spanish lessons, ping pong, bocce ball and cocktail making, in addition to the fitness center with fully equipped gym and exercise classes.
