Christine Clinton Cancer Care is an Internationally recognized 3-day training program offered to Spa professionals around the globe.
This hands on education is essential for all therapists who want to offer safe and effective spa services for our guests living with cancer or with a history of cancer.
Day one is a formal presentation about cancer, what it is, how it is treated and the many side effects associated with Cancer treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. We address both short term and long term side effects such as lymphedema, EGRF rash, peripheral neuropathy etc. On days 2 and 3 we work with guests in active treatment and those in remission. Each therapist will have the opportunity to work on a minimum of 4 clients during the training. Upon completion of the onsite training and case studies, therapists will receive certification. The Spa will become a cancer aware spa and receive an award which can be displayed.
