We have noticed a fast paced increase in the visits to our spa, returning now to pre-pandemic levels with over 38% occupancy. The interest has shifted to more demand for outdoor and holistic treatments and an 8.7% increase in average spend per guest. All fitness and wellness activities, such as breathwork techniques, meditation, yoga, and shamanic experiences are also increasing in demand. We are observing an increase in all types of couples experiences: partners, mother-daughter, father-son, and best friends. It seems that guests place a high value on being able to gather together once again, with their family and close circle of friends.
The retail associated with wellness, from tools to toys, is increasing, with an estimated 20% to 25 % growth in sales. We have also doubled the number of hiking, mountain biking, archery, kayaking, paddle boarding, surf excursions and expeditions sold to our guests, reinforcing the trend of ‘immersion in nature’ already observed in recent years. We feel that this indicates a promising future ahead!
